Control Humidity & Save Energy with DryGair – Le Lien Horticole Magazine
French horticulture magazine, La Lien Horticole, reports on DryGair’s ability to control humidity and save energy in large-scale greenhouses.
The following are excerpts from the original article:
“The principle behind DryGair – to capture the cold, humid air and dry and warm it, to ensure control over humidity. All without ventilating the greenhouse and without wasting energy. The device is turned on once the greenhouse and the thermal screens are closed. It’s capable of treating 22,000 m3 of air, extracting 45 liters of water using 10 kWh of electricity. But the heating needs are reduced.”
DryGair recently partnered with Ets Jolly to distribute its products in France. Ets Jolly is a horticulture supply specialist, with over 30 years of experience.
“Ets Jolly promises a return on investment of one to three years, and energy savings of 50% on average, with peaks of 70% depending on crops and conditions of use. Additionally, using DryGair, crops can be placed more densely, allowing growers to fit more plants in the greenhouse. Installation is simple and accessible, and doesn’t require greenhouse adaptations.”
The DryGair solution is compatible with all types of commercial growing facilities, and benefits almost all crops, including vegetables, ornamentals, leafy greens, and more.
