Growers From Around the World Study DryGair in Active Greenhouses – Featured in HortiDaily

Our annual ‘DryGair Experience’ tour to visit advanced greenhouses in the Netherlands and see DryGair in action was once again a success. We were fortunate to be joined by growers from around the world, from Japan to Canada. We were also joined by HortiDaily magazine, who reported on the special event.

Studying Dehumidification in High-end Greenhouses

During the tour, we visited three advanced, commercial greenhouses in Bleiswijk – Anthura, Santini nursery De Landscheiding, and Koolhaas Natuurlijk. All of which use DryGair in order to control humidity, prevent diseases, and save energy.

The growers who joined us on tour were able to learn how advanced Dutch greenhouses operate and control growing conditions, at the highest energy efficiency.

During the tour, Eef Zwinkels, DryGair specialist at Royal Brinkman, shared that in the near future Dutch growers will be obligated to lower energy consumption. He and his colleague, Hans Belt, then explained how DryGair is one of the leading solutions to this issue, saving an average of 50% on energy, with a fast ROI of 1-3 years.

They also explained how the system helps improve cultivation and prevent diseases in a completely organic way.

Thank You to The Growers Who Hosted Us

We would like to thank the wonderful Bleiswijk growers who hosted us and allowed us to visit their greenhouses:

Anthura specializes in breeding and propagating anthurium and orchids.

Koolhaas Natuurlijk specializes in gerberas and germinis.

Santini nursery De Landscheiding specializes in Calimero flowers.

The annual tour wouldn’t be possible without these great growers, as well as our partners Royal Brinkman.

Looking forward to our next tour – June 10th, 2024, the day before Greentech.
